Sudden sheets of warm rain made me turn my back from the sunrise to shield my
gear. Now in front of me was a glorious rainbow, easily the second cousin of
the one that gave Noah such promise. A hundred dull, dreary, early dawns is
not too much to pay for an opportunity to witness one of these ephemeral
moments.
